Where does your community’s drinking water come from? What will be an ideal response?

Answers will vary. Most communities obtain drinking water from groundwater pumped
through wells. Some communities use surface water like lakes and rivers. Some coastal
cities without reliable fresh surface water or groundwater supplies desalinate ocean
water to obtain drinking water.
