As a police chief, how would you handle the counseling of a police officer regarding his apparent lack of self-confidence?
What will be an ideal response?
The counseling should take place in a private place. You should not demean the officer, but indicate to him that he needs to develop goals for improvement, convince himself that he can meet those goals, and to work to meet them.
