What is a communication setting? Provide an example of how a setting might change communication

What will be an ideal response?

The setting is where the communication takes place and also includes the environmental conditions (lighting, amount of noise, and temperature), how physically close the communicators are to each other, and timing of the communication (day of week, time of day, and month). Individuals might communicate in close proximity almost yelling at each other at a loud party on a Saturday night. However, this communication behavior would be highly inappropriate at 9:00am on a Monday morning in the library during finals week.
