What will be an ideal response?
The term fate refers to the existential givens of life, those aspects of existence over which we can exert little or no control. Destiny, in contrast, refers to what we may become. We are responsible for our destiny, but not our fate. Destiny is determined not by fate but by how we respond to fate.
