Motivation for becoming an informant. Reliability in the past. Intelligence of the informant. How does he or she know about the criminal activity. Does he or she have personal interest & why? Does he or she have direct knowledge of the criminal activity/ Is there any access to additional knowledge? Is there any harbored vengeance against the suspect? Is he or she withholding any information? Has he or she lied in the past? Is he or she willing to testify in court?
