consciousness, awareness, identity or memory frequently resulting from
severe trauma or stress to the extent that these symptoms interfere with
normal functioning --- affecting school, work or interpersonal relationships;

? Dissociative disorders develop in response to severe stress but are not part of
the trauma and stressor-related disorders although both may share certain
dissociative symptoms; for example, amnesia, flashbacks, numbing or
