What is the current position of the U.S. Supreme Court on the reliability and admissibility of polygraph evidence? Do you think polygraph evidence should be admissible in court? Why or why not? Explain your position

What will be an ideal response?

The current position of the U.S. Supreme Court on the reliability and admissibility of
polygraph evidence is that it is not reliable, and therefore, is not admissible. I think
polygraph evidence should not be admissible in court for the same reasons the courts
do not allow its admissibility. There are also Fifth Amendment concerns with the
privilege against self-incrimination.
