Explain exercises that would be appropriate for a soccer player who is in the final stage of healing her MCL.

What will be an ideal response?

If she is in the final stage we can assume that healing has progressed to the point that strength and function are good enough to allow good linear function, walking, and jogging. It would now be time for sprinting, cutting and agility exercises. These exercises should be sport, team, and position specific. Progression should be from solo drills to group drills to scrimmage. Effort should progress from submaximal (e.g. 50%) to maximal (e.g. 100%).
