What is neuroplasticity?

What will be an ideal response?

The term neuroplasticity refers to the brain’s ability to change and adapt as a result of life experiences (Butz, & Worgotter, & van Ooyen, 2009; Holtmaat & Svoboda, 2009). Research has demonstrated that the brain continues to create new neural pathways throughout one’s life and that it modifies existing neural pathways in order to adapt to new experiences, learn new information and create new memories (Siegel, 1999, 2010).
