Describe the following functional zones of a motor neuron: input zone, trigger zone, conducting zone, and output zone

What will be an ideal response?

The dendrites and cell body are an input zone, where the neuron receives chemical signals and converts them to electrical signals. The part of the axon nearest the cell body is a trigger zone. Arrival of an electrical signal here triggers signals that flow along the conducting zone of the axon to the axon terminals. Axon terminals are the output zone: They release signaling molecules that influence other cells.
