The Turing Test is the name given to the test Turing proposed to determine if a computer has achieved intelligence. The test is also sometimes referred to as the conversation game, based on the party game in from which it derives. The test takes place with a human judge, and two unknown individuals, one a computer and the other a human. The human judge takes turns chatting to both the computer and the human via text.
