Pig uterus has three regions: cervix at the uterus entrance, the uterine body, and two uterine horns. The pig has a bicornuate uterus in which embryo implantation and development occurs in the uterine horns. The human female does not have a bicornuate uterus and implantation occurs in the body of the uterus.
