The student should discuss the pubescent growth spurt, menarche, and production of sperm in regard to physical maturation. In regard to sexuality, the struggles of determining whether one is a homosexual and the fact that most teens have had intercourse by the age of 17 could be noted. The importance of both friends and parents could be mentioned in regard to social identity.
