(v) Examining an object of study using multiple approaches allows for more complete knowledge.
(b) Disadvantages
(i) Carrying out multiple methods simultaneously can be taxing.
(ii) The researcher has to be competent in multiple research approaches.
(iii) Potential to be criticized by methodological purists.
(iv) It is potentially more expensive and time consuming.
