Describe strategies that can increase a future time perspective

What will be an ideal response?

Having a future time perspective is related to positive academic outcomes so it is therefore a good idea to increase this view of time. There are several ways to increase your future time perspective. One strategy is to practice delaying your gratification. Force yourself to wait a few minutes before getting a reward. You can then increase the amount of time between the activity and reward. Another great strategy is to keep long term goals visible. Frequently remind yourself how your behaviors today can impact you in the future. You can also ask others like friends and family members to remind you about these present to future connections.
