Describe how the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) works.
What will be an ideal response?
The IPP encapsulates the remote procedure call and print process information and is transported in HTTP just as a human passenger is transported inside a bus along a highway. IIS sends the IPP encapsulated information to its HTTP print server. The HTTP print server works with the regular Windows Server 2008 spooler services-the print provider, print processor, and print monitor processes-to prepare the print file for transmission to the target printer.
