Terrorism is not just an American problem, and even though we are preoccupied with protecting our homeland, there are many terrorist acts and deaths annually around the world. 4 . There is no quick or easy resolution to terrorism; therefore it will be around for the foreseeable future. 5 . Services members and their families live with the dangers they face and the collective sacrifices they make to secure our nation and therefore they deserve our respect. 6 . Terrorism evolves and adapts which presents a continuous series of new challenges.
