What are some of the criticisms against labor unions?

What will be an ideal response?

Critics of labor unions argue that they have too much influence, that its members are overpaid, and that unions drain state resources because of the pension benefits and high salaries of public sector employees such as teachers, nurses, sanitation workers, and police. Critics also contend that unions have limited employers' flexibility in hiring and firing decisions, and that ever-increasing labor and health care costs have forced employers to move their operations overseas to remain competitive.
