Whether they like it or not, high-profile athletes and coaches give up some personal and privacy comforts
that do not affect other citizens. Whether this is right or wrong is another issue; this is just the nature of the
sports industry. Cable television and the Internet have contributed to sports stars’ lack of privacy. This does
not excuse, however, fraudulent reports by journalists or other discussions that lack truth.
