What are some of the disadvantages of a round robin DNS?
What will be an ideal response?
Although it is fairly easy to implement, round robin DNS also is subject to some important drawbacks. These are inherited from the DNS hierarchy itself and from DNS record TTL times, which makes undesired address caching difficult to manage. Moreover, its simplicity means that should any remote servers go down unpredictably, inconsistencies may be introduced into their DNS tables.
