Describe Bluetooth.
What will be an ideal response?
Bluetooth is a wireless networking technology that operates over a short range in the 2.4 GHz Industrial, Scientific, and Medical band and is used primarily to provide full duplex voice and data communication to mobile devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, and video game controls.
The topology of a Bluetooth network is called a piconet, which allows up to eight Bluetooth-enabled devices to communicate. One device is the master, which polls up to seven other slave devices in a round-robin fashion. Any device can become a master as well, but only one master may exist at a time. Two or more piconets can be connected into a scatternet.
