These types of views are established by placing viewing plane lines identifying where the view is taken. Each end of the viewing plane line is labeled with a letter, such as A for the first view and B for the second view. Consecutive letters are used for additional views. The view is then found somewhere on the print, and a title is placed below the view to correspond with its viewing plane line label, such as VIEW A-A.
