What is centrifugal casting?
What will be an ideal response?
An important technique for creating detail in a finished product is called centrifugal casting (sometimes called rotational casting). Metal or plastic resin material is poured into a revolving mold. The rotation forces the molding material to the outside of the mold, filling in all the details. Jewelry makers use centrifugal casting extensively, but even large objects can be made using this technique.
