Discuss why HIV/AIDS is a global health issue for treatment and prevention.
What will be an ideal response?
Ans: Varies. HIV/AIDS is a global health issue because of how easily it spreads not just locally or nationally, but globally. It is spread from industrialized and less developed nations due to how jobs, travel, and the industry are globalized. Globalization is the function and dysfunction in how HIV/AIDS is being spread across nations. This is a problem because the pharmaceutical companies are dominated by Western medicine and companies and are privileged to certain people in certain countries. However, doctors are working together globally with the United Nations of prevention and treatment because of how fast the disease is growing.
