What is implicit leadership theory and how did it contribute to the concept of global leadership behaviors? What are the limitations of this approach?

What will be an ideal response?

Implicit leadership theory focuses on how leaders are perceived by followers. Leadership itself is what people see when observing a leader's actions. The theory informed GLOBE researchers—they were observing leaders in different cultures. Limitations: does not consider what leaders actually do, only the perceptions; does not consider the outcomes of what their behaviors are.
