Explain the self-disclosure concept
What will be an ideal response?
Self-disclosure is telling another person about oneself and one's thoughts and feelings with the expectation that truly open communication will follow. In exchange theory, reciprocal self-disclosure increases partners' liking and trusting each other, eliminates a lot of guesswork in the relationship,and helps balance costs and benefits.
