According to the International Society for Technology in Education, each adolescent should become an empowered learner, actively using technology to reach learning goals. Each student should become a digital citizen, demonstrating responsibility and ethical use. Each student should be a knowledge constructor, using a variety of resources and digital tools. Students should be innovative designers, using various technologies to craft useful and imaginative solutions. Students should be computational thinkers by developing strategies in using technology to create solutions. Students should be creative communicators by communicating effectively and thinking creatively in their use of digital tools. Finally, each student should be a global collaborator, using technology to widen their perspectives and enhance their learning by connecting with others both locally and globally.
