The technician needs to measure the current flowing through the control circuit. This current is very low and needs to be measured using a 10 coil loop of wire from the control circuit. The current of this coil is measured and then divided by 10. The heat anticipator will have a moveable arrow or pointer which the technician has to move to the corresponding amperage.
