Define self-talk. How can it help you to become more mindful?

What will be an ideal response

Self talk is inner speech (communication with yourself) that helps you become more mindful about how you are processing information and relating to various situations. Self-talk can help manage the discomfort, emotions, or negative thoughts about a situation. Thus, you can be more aware of your communication with others and recognize that others are not like you, and you can focus on the communication between you and the other person.
