What is colorblindness? Is it a positive value to have or not? Explain you position
What will be an ideal response?
Suggested Responses: Colorblindness is the idea that people do not notice or acknowledge a person's color. It is not a positive value to hold since it denies the reality of racism and thus perpetuates it. Color should not be used as a basis for prejudice and discrimination but it is a viable part of a person's experiences. To deny someone's race is to deny the experiences he or she has gone through and his or her cultural background.
