What are caecilians?


Caecilians are worm-like in appearance. They do not have limbs and are usually without sight. They burrow
into the decayed material on top of the soil and into the soil. They vary in length from 3 to 59 inches, and
they have tentacle-like structures on their heads that enable them to find their way in their tunnels.
