Explain two things you should consider when considering references
What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Select people who are familiar with your skills, the quality of your work, and your ability to learn quickly. Ensure the credibility of your references; never use a spouse or a relative as a reference. Contact the people you have chosen ahead of time and ask for permission to list them as references. When asked, provide your written permission for references to disclose information about you and your performance. Tell potential references which job you are applying for and when the employer might contact them. Make sure you have accurate contact information for each reference, including their email address. Choose people who have positive, insightful, and complimentary things to say about you.
