Regarding the commission of crimes by persons under 14 years of age, it is unlikely that unless the crime is a felony, they would ever be subjected to the formal adversary judicial proceedings in adult court. Juveniles are not considered to have committed crime but have a unique status of criminality called “Juvenile Delinquency.”
