What is the developmental process of grounded theory?
What will be an ideal response?
Throughout data collection, researchers inductively come up with a systematic theory that is based on the data they have collected. They then summarize these concepts into categories. These concepts are then tested against more observations as the research continues. As this testing goes on, the concepts are refined and relationships between them are linked. As this process continues and concepts are continually refined and linked, a theory will evolve.
