What are client benefits from participating in an OM process?
What will be an ideal response?
Ans: Clients receive several benefits when engaged in the OM process. First, the client is participating in his/her own assessment and intervention process. The more actively engaged the client is in the process, the greater the probability that the client will meet his/her change goals. Second, the client by participating becomes more aware of his behaviors and has an investment in what he is trying to change. Third, there is a built-in feedback mechanism that is ongoing, which can be another form of motivation for accomplishing his change goals.
