Define the term gender panic and provide an example.

What will be an ideal response?

Gender panics are situations where people react to disruptions to biology-based gender ideology by frantically reasserting the naturalness of a male-female binary. Several examples were mentioned in the chapter including situations where transwomen with male anatomies may be housed with female prisoners or transwomen with male genitalia using women’s bathrooms.
