What is the difference between a conflict tactic and a conflict style? Describe the six conflict styles and explain how they are differentiated from each other

What will be an ideal response?

Individual behaviors a person uses during conflict are called conflict tactics. Whereas, patterns of tactics over time comprise one's conflict style. For example, I might compromise over one point (tactic), but in the end, my conflict style is more collaborative and we come to a mutual agreement on a majority of the issues.
The six conflict styles are classified as direct/indirect and uncooperative/cooperative. The authors also talk about how some tactics are focused on one's concern for self and concern for others. The six conflict styles are as follows:
Competitive/Fighting—Direct and uncooperative, high concern for self and low concern for others.
Compromising—Direct and mid range between uncooperative/cooperative, with a moderate concern for self and others.
Collaborating—Direct and cooperative, with a high concern for self and others.
Indirect fighting—Indirect and uncooperative, with a high concern for self and a low concern for others.
Avoiding—Indirect and mid range between uncooperative/cooperative.
Yielding—Indirect and cooperative, with a high concern for others and a low concern for self.
