Explain why experiments are more helpful in identifying causal relationships compared to other research methods.
What will be an ideal response?
May vary. Experiments are powerful in that they identify causation. Other methods
may only offer insights on correlations. While valuable, experiments give us the power
to vary treatments, enabling us to see a specific causal agent. Experiments can be run
in combination with other correlational methods to give researchers more confidence in their conclusions.
