What will be an ideal response?
The more quickly a drug is available to the tissue, the sooner it gets to the tissue and the sooner it is used up. For example, a drug given intravenously can get to its target organ quickly, is available for use sooner, and therefore is used up more quickly. This results in more frequent redosing of drugs that have a rapid onset of action.
