Describe how negative feedback, positive feedback and feedforward are similar and dissimilar when it comes to homeostatic mechanisms
What will be an ideal response?
Feedback mechanisms control the output of a response whether they are positive or negative. Positive feedback mechanisms insure the continuation of the response while negative feedback mechanisms reduce or eliminate the response to the stimulus. Feedforward mechanisms pass a controlling signal from a source in the system's external environment to a load somewhere else in the external environment.
