What are glaciers? How are they as agents of erosion and deposition? What will be an ideal response?

Glaciers are moving bodies of ice on land. They are very effective at erosion, sediment transport, and
deposition. They deeply scour the surfaces they move over, produce glacial landforms by erosion or
deposition, and deposit huge amounts of sediments.
