Explain the medical benefits available under workers’ compensation systems.
What will be an ideal response?
Workers’ compensation provides medical treatment for injured or sick workers. An injured employee is entitled to receive medical treatment that is reasonably necessary to cure the injury, relieve the symptoms, and place the worker back on the road to making a full recovery, when that is possible. Medical benefits include visits to doctors, treatment by nurses, dentists, chiropractors, and other medical professionals.
