Before you start or change your exercise program or participate in testing, you should fill out the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) and/or speak with your physician. Some health factors that may interfere with safe participation include abnormal blood pressure, irregular heart rhythm, type 2 diabetes, age, and obesity.
