List and briefly explain two suggestions for becoming a better listener

What will be an ideal response?

One way to promote better listening is to focus on the message. Do not allow yourself
to be distracted by the speaker, their mannerisms, or other stimuli. A second way to become a
better listener is to withhold judgment. Many people make "snap" judgments about speakers
and their message, immediately labeling the message good or bad. By withholding judgment of
right or wrong until a speaker has completed his or her message, we can listen more
objectively and better evaluate the message in its entirety. Other ways to improve listening
include cultivating a desire to learn, understanding the speaker's point of view, reinforcing the
message, and providing feedback.
