Describe the ways in which African peoples have influenced world regions beyond Africa?
What will be an ideal response?
The slave trade resulted in the forced migration of millions of Africans; in the process, various cultural elements have diffused wherever African slavery was practiced—notably in the Americas, but also in Europe. African culture is present in agricultural practices in the Americas; it is also evidenced in music, dance, language, and religion. More recently, African cultural traditions continue to influence other world regions—again, especially in music and dance styles.
