Does polygamy still exist? Where? Why?
What will be an ideal response?
• Yes, polygamy still exists.
• It exists primarily among a group of fundamentalist members of the Church of Latter Day Saints, the Mormons. Although polygamy is prohibited by Court interpretation of the Constitution, there is a small group of Mormons that have split from the main body of the church and practice polygamy. There have been enforcement efforts but polygamy still exists.
