If you connect to the Internet wirelessly at home and move your computer from room to room in your home, or even to your yard, without losing your Internet connection, then you are using portable Internet access. Portable Internet access services include Wi-Fi, portable satellite, and portable WiMAX. On the other hand, mobile Internet access offers a continuous Internet connection as you are walking or riding in a bus, car, train, or plane.
