Human growth hormone is expensive, may have negative effects in the long term, and is not approved by the FDA for the use he is contemplating. If he were to continue to take the hormone, he could end up with acromegaly. Additionally, he should check to see that his bones can continue to lengthen because some teenagers have already achieved all of their possible height by this time.
