What will be an ideal response?
Answer: Techniques for managing stress include being able to recognize when, why, and how stress is affecting you and the origin of the stress. Better understanding sources and symptoms of stress will help you alleviate it. Find someone with whom you can discuss your stress, and get some professional help when you need it. Try to keep your stress at work from affecting your home life and your relationships with family and friends, and try to keep stress in your personal life from affecting your work. Remember that any change results in stress, even changes that you perceive as good ones. Learn to relax, schedule time for recreation and other personal interests, maintain a healthy balance between work and play, get plenty of sleep, eat properly, and avoid alcohol and drugs. Strengthen interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills, and do not keep negative feelings bottled up. Know your limits, avoid perfectionism, and feel good about your accomplishments.
