Cities such as Warsaw and Budapest are dominated by continental climates. (3) Mediterranean climate: in the southern part of Europe, along the Mediterranean Sea; this climate has a dryer summer and warmer temperatures. Cities such as Rome and Athens experience Mediterranean climates.
